Every musician must decide what songs to keep. Oftentimes, songs are erased before you enter the studio. Other times, songs don’t fit the record, so just put them into a time capsule. What happened here was not typical.
The multidimensional era was vibrant and emotionally abundant. There was momentum through a creative wave during the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, writing songs back-to-back for weeks and recording live performances of the songs. That was fun and rewarding, yet I was not able to yield a sensible record out of the sessions at the time.
I felt the need to restart. Instead of sifting through, overwhelmed, I deleted all multidimensional era files for a fresh start. This restart lead to the making of the album The Symbiotic Realm. Yet, a surprising email years later explained how a glitch hid, stored, and saved the files.
All media files were deleted, trash emptied, and my website was completely reset… yet some odd conversion process “glitch” hid and stored these multidimensional songs. Several days ago, I got an email with a list of video download links for every last song from that era.
The “Multidimensional” album never actually was produced. I now have video performances of songs from that era, but the project never reached the studio. Within that spontaneous creative state, I couldn’t sift and discern properly. Although not a complete record, perhaps one or two select songs could be woven into future Loom Angel works.
